Bitumen 70/100
Bitumen Penetration Grade 70/100 is a standard penetration grade Bitumen usually used as a Paving Grade Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with special properties (PmB). Penetration grade bitumens are specified by the penetration and softening point tests. Designation is by penetration range only, e.g. 70/100 pen bitumen has a penetration that ranges from 70 to 100 inclusive and a softening point of 43 to 51 C.
