Spills
In an industrial facility there are many activities and unpredictable factors that have the potential to cause accidental spills. Failure of piping systems, external corrosion and structural failure, spills and overfills due to operator error are only a few that can cause minor, semi-significant or even hazardous spills.
To prevent and mitigate spills we have developed a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC Plan) and standardized reporting and follow-up procedures, containment, storage, and disposal activities.
We have also established a continuing education program to make sure that our employees and subcontractor are familiar with our SPCC Plan and have the tools and knowledge to enforce proper spill prevention and control measures.
