Environmental Footprint
We all depend on nature and the accurate measurement of our environmental footprint is important to understand the impact that our activities have on the natural environment and on future generations.
In 2008 we have adopted an Ecological Footprint Analysis approach to assess the environmental impact of our operations and products. Since then yearly data has been analyzed to conclude that the vast majority of our carbon emission comes from our production, transportation, application and recycling of our products.
Dealing with bitumen and PMBs requires a lot of attention and responsibility and it is getting even more demanding when we want to do it in an environmentally conscious way. Energy requirements to maintain high temperature levels in all stages of the product lifecycle, efficient management of air emissions, solid and liquid wastes, and control of sound levels and leaks are few of the most important things we can consider to reduce the impact of our growth.
